Montage International and CrossHarbor Capital Partners LLC are partnering to open the resort by 2021 in the Spanish Peaks enclave of Big Sky.
The Montage Big Sky hotel will feature 150 rooms and 39 branded residences. It will offer ski-in, ski-out access and access to the Spanish Peaks golf course designed by Tom Weiskopf. The hotel is less than an hour from the western entrance of Yellowstone National Park and Bozeman’s international airport, appealing to fly fisherman and golfers alike.
With 140 guest rooms and 39 residences, Montage Big Sky will offer ski-in, ski-out access to Big Sky, a restaurant, bowling alley, spa and a host of other amenities.
“We look at this market as akin to Jackson Hole 25 years ago,” said Sam Byrne, managing partner at CrossHarbor. “It’s a market that in general has been dramatically underserved by hotels.”
CrossHarbor is also responsible for bringing the Wilson Hotel to Big Sky. It is reported that Cross Harbor planning on announcing another hotel project in Big Sky soon.
