Big Sky Real Estate

Whether you’re looking to own a rental property a vacation home or to purchase a recreational property, Big Sky offers real estate options close proximity to ski slopes, golf courses, and rivers. The Big Sky area is divided between the counties of Madison and Gallatin. The county seat of Madison County is Virginia City. This distinction is important because of the differing real estate tax rates for Montana counties.

Moonlight Basin

Moonlight BasinMoonlight Basin serves as a vital link in a vast wilderness chain by connecting two major parts of the 260,000-acre Lee Metcalf Wilderness. These, in turn, are surrounded by 3 million acres of national forest, and ultimately joined with the 20-million-acre Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem. And yet Moonlight Basin’s connection to the wilderness is not just physical. It’s philosophical. Preserving the things that make Moonlight Basin special is in our DNA.
